The Nekempte Girls
The REAL sponsorship of the 15 girls in the Nekempte cluster began in Fall 2006. Nekempte is a larger town in Western Ethiopia. The 15 girls, selected by a committee appointed by the Synod of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church - Mekane Yesus - attended 11 different schools.
