Why do we want to you to join us in the movement of the education and empowerment of girls and women starting in Ethiopia. According to data from Global Map of Adolescent Girls, there are 4.9 million girls aged 10-14 in Ethiopia. They grow up in where 81.1% of women who consider a husband justified in beating his wife...where 74% of girls/women age 15-49 experienced female genital cutting, where 49% get married before age 18, where in rural areas only 2.6% proportion of rural birth attended by skilled birth professionals! We will share with you more at the event, what we are doing the outcome of our work, the difference supporters and sponsors are making. Come let us celebrate making a difference for one girl, one family and one country at a time. Come help us to renew our commitment.
